Antique Japanese Compass Locket

Measuring app. 1 1/16 (including bail) x 1 inch wide, with a tri-color gold chrysanthemum and bamboo motif and compass inside with Japanese characters, fashioned in 18k yellow gold. Suspended from an 18 inch chain. Japan. Unidentified maker's mark. Circa 1890.
